The Plagiarism Detector is a free online tool designed to check your work for any plagiarism. You can easily copy and paste your assignment into the checker and provides an analysis of your paper immediately. You can use the checker as many times as you want without any charges to make sure you don't have any text that is considered unoriginal. According to the Plagiarism Detector website, the tool works looks for lexical frequencies, word-choice, matching phrases, compared your text against different databases they collect, and finally out on the entire internet.[1]

Using Plagiarism Detector

The tool is found at https:Plagiarismdetector.net and has lots of advertising for the Pro Version. 1. Focus on the following area of their home page (see clip below) you paste the text into the textbox as shown below and click on the Check Plagiarism button.

Note:' the free version only lets you paste 1000 words for free. If the text is longer than this you will need to copy your document in multiple sections.

2. The Plagiarism Detector Report will appear below the box you pasted your text and show you what is considered plagiarized in the orange color.

3. Below is what you will see when you expand the found text that is considered plagiarized content and the source will be shared along with a link to the source of the text if this is available.
